The POE-250HD is a high-end 1.3 MegaPixel network camera designed for professional outdoor surveillance and security applications. MegaPixel (MP) IP cameras offer improvements in image quality compared to conventional surveillance cameras. The possibility to view live video streaming from AirLive IP Cameras over the Internet is only one of the benefits. AirLive POE-250HD is designed to offer high-performance surveillance and is equipped with PoE port, allowing power and data to be transmitted via a single Ethernet cable This provides an easier installation, lower cabling costs and allows placement of AirLive PoE cameras in locations without access to electrical source.
H.264 is a high performing video compression standard that boasts a much higher compression ratio than MJPEG or MPEG-4, drastically reducing file sizes and conserving valuable network bandwidth and storage space. With up to 90% reduction in file size, an 1 MB image can be drastically reduced to as low as 10KB using H.264.
Vandal Proof Housing with IP66 Waterproof Resistance
AirLive POE-250HD is an IP66 rated weather proof IP camera designed for 24hr indoor/outdoor surveillance under the harshest conditions. AirLive POE-250HD toughened glass and vandal proof housing provides protection against the intrusion of burglar, dust, accidental contact, and water.
1.3 Mega-Pixel Video Quality
AirLive POE-250HD offer high quality image at maximum 1280x1024 resolution. One of the most compelling advantages of MegaPixel surveillance systems is their ability to capture more details in a frame and at the same time not missing any finer details that are useful for license plate identification and human recognition.
* Red box is standard 640X480 image resolution. The AirLive POE-250HD offer 4 times bigger image size compare to VGA camera.
APPS for Android and iOS

Q7 What does IP Code mean?
The IP Code, Ingress Protection Rating, sometimes also interpreted as International Protection Rating, classifies and rates the degree of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects (including body parts like hands and fingers), dust, accidental contact, and water in mechanical casings and with electrical enclosures.
Solid particle protection
The first digit indicates the level of protection that the enclosure provides against access to hazardous parts (e.g., electrical conductors, moving parts) and the ingress of solid foreign objects.
Description of Protection Level 0 Not protected 1 Protected against solid foreign objects of 50 mm diameter and greater 2 Protected against solid foreign objects of 12,5 mm diameter and greater 3 Protected against solid foreign objects of 2,5 mm diameter and greater 4 Protected against solid foreign objects of 1,0 mm diameter and greater 5 Protected from the amount of dust that would interfere with normal operation 6 Dust tight
Liquid ingress protection
Protection of the equipment inside the enclosure against harmful ingress of water.
Description of Protection Level 0 Not protected 1 Protected against vertically falling water drops 2 Protected against vertically falling water drops when enclosure is tilted up to 15° 3 Protected against water sprayed at an angle up to 60° on either side of the vertical 4 Protected against water splashed against the component from any direction 5 Protected against water projected in jets from any direction 6 Protected against water projected in powerful jets from any direction 7 Protected against temporary immersion in water 8 Protected against continuous immersion in water, or as specified by the user
Q8 What is the difference between Passive PoE and Active PoE?
Q9 What is VBR and CBR?
VBR and CBR can usually be found under IPCAM's camera settings. VBR stands for "Variable Bit Rate". When the camera is set to "VBR" mode, the bandwidth used by IPCAM is determined by the image quality setting. CBR stands for "Constant Bit Rate". When the camera is set to CBR mode, the users can defined what is the maximum bandwidth that the camera can use. For example, user can define the bit rate to "4Mbps". It means the camera can not use more than 4Mbps bandwidth. The image quality may drop to preserve the maximum bandwidth used.
